The Temptations Atlantic city reviews
Temptations forever!
I have wanted to see the Temptations in person for years! Have waited a long time! Especially to see Otis Williams, the last surviving Temptation from the original 60’s group. The venue at Hoyt Sherman Place is gorgeous-restored to it’s original beauty. I loved all the original songs they sang! So amazing! But there were some sound issues! The trumpet and drums section was so loud that it overpowered the microphone sound of the singers. Difficult to understand what they were saying. I can’t believe that this occurred as usually the sound staff do a sound check prior to concert. Another issue is that Ticketmaster did not tell the ticket buyers that this would be a 60 minute concert. Expensive tickets for an hour! The group started their concert at 8:12 pm-late-then took at least 5-7 minutes to introduce the group members and key band members and they all left the stage at 9:20 pm. No encore! Very disappointed! I think if a person buys tickets through Ticketmaster, they should be upfront about the length of the concert and offer a refund if their are sound issues.
